Lemon Rice

Lemon rice is simple , quick fix rice recipe.often made as prasadam,offering in Temples.Its also lunch box recipe,in our households.

Ingredients

Boiled raw rice 1 cup
Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
Greenchilli 3-4
Salt to taste
Mustad seeds,urad dal,bengal gram dal 1 tsp each
Oil 3 tbsp
Tumeric  powder 1 tsp
Curry leaves

Method

Boil raw rice 1 cup and let it cool.Heat a pan add oil season with mustard,urad dal, bengal gram dal, green chilli,curry leaves.

Saute for few minutes till flavours release,now add cooled rice,salt,lemon juice and mix well .

All time favourite Indian sweet Laddu recipe Ingredients  For laddu mix: Besan/gram flour 1cup Salt 1pinch  Water as required  Turmeric powder 1/4tsp Ghee for frying 1cup For sugar syrup: Sugar 1 cup Water 1/2 cup Cardamom powder 1tsp Saffron few strands Melon seeds 1tbsp  Method: For making laddu mix: Add 1cup besan in a bowl,seive, mix with salt,turmeric powder and water.Make a smooth runny batter without lumps Heat a frying pan,add 1 cup ghee or oil. Majigapulusu/kadhi with steamed dal koftas

 Soft melt in mouth koftas, simmered in buttermilk,makes a wholesome curry. Ingredients For masala Tur dar 1 tbsp Dry red chilli 6-7 Salt to taste Coconut 1 tbsp Ginger 1 tbsp Jeera 1 tsp Masala for kadi For dal koftas Mixed dal 1 cup (Tur dal, Bengal gram dal,urad dal) Onion 2 Green chilli 2 Salt to taste For majigapulusu Curd 1 cup Salt to taste Tumeric Powder 1 tsp Mustard seeds Oil for tempering Curry leaves Asafoetida 1 pinch Method Soak masala ingredients and grind to a smooth paste. Churn curd with 1/2 cup water ,add salt, turmeric powder and Churn to a smooth consistency. For koftas, soak dal for 3-4 hrs and grind coarsely with green chilli and salt.Add chopped onions and steam for 15 mins until cooked .cut into squares and cool. Veg hakka noodles

Noodles.... twisted and tossed,saucy threads of joy!!!Its a welcome dish when served as any meal, so here's  veg hakka noodles , let's get started.. Veg hakka noodles Ingredients Mixed chopped veges 1 cup (Carrot,cabbage, Onion, capsicum) Oil 1tbsp Salt to taste Pepper powder 1 tsp Soya sauce 1 tsp Tomato sauce 1 tbsp Chilli sauce 1 tsp Hakka Noodles pack 1 Method Chop veges lengthwise,as thin as possible and keep aside. Chopped veges Heat oil in a wok add the veges and stir fry them on high flame ,cook for few mins ,veges need to retain their crunch (don't overcook).Add the sauces , salt and toss it on high flame. Boil noodles in a large pan with 10 cups water,bring water to boil and cook noodles for 10 mins until they are Al dente.Drain excess water and keep aside. Mix the boiled noodles with sorteyed veges,toss for few mins,mix thoroughly and serve hot!!
