RAVA IDLI

  RAVA IDLI  Ingredients  Suji /Rava 1cup  Semiya /vermicelli 1cup Salt to taste  Curd 4tbsp Water as required  Oil 3tbsp Mustard seeds 1tsp Urad Dal 1/2 tsp Bengal gram dal 1/2tsp Onion 2 Greenchilli 3 Ginger 2inch piece  Asafoetida 1/4tsp Curry leaves few

Cream of broccoli soup

  Ingredients Broccoli 1 Salt to taste  Pepper as required  Water as required  Chopped Spring onion 2 tbsp Garlic 2nos. For white sauce  Butter 1 tbsp  Maida 1tbsp Salt to taste  Pepper powder as required  Milk 1glass  Method  Heat a Pan, add butter and saute Chopped Spring onion and garlic for 3 minutes.  Add broccoli florets and saute for 2minutes. Add a glass of water and simmer till broccoli is tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Let the broccoli cool to room temperature.  For making white sauce add a tbsp of butter to a heated pan, add Maida and saute in low flame for few minutes. Add a glass of milk in batches. Keep stirring constantly in low flame to avoid lumps. Finish off white sauce with a dash of salt and pepper.  Blend the cooled broccoli with the white sauce into a smooth consistency. Add enough water to adjust to a soup consistency.  Cover and simmer for few minutes. Serve hot broccolis soup to your loved ones.
