Ingredients
Khuskhus/poppy seeds 250 GM's
Sugar 3/4 cup
Ghee 5tbsp
Cashewnut 1tbsp
Milk 500 ml
Method
Soak khuskhus overnight.Grind to a smooth paste.
Heat a heavy bottomed pan ,add the khuskhus paste,saute till water evaporates.
Add milk and saute till water evaporates.keep medium flame.
Add sugar and cook in medium flame.stir regularly.cook till sugar dissolves and the halwa turns slightly brown.
Add ghee and saute in low flame until ghee seperates.
Garnish with cashews and serve the khuskhus Halwa hot or cold
